Beste was founded in 1992, thanks to the determination and intuitions of Giovanni Santi. From the beginning, Beste decided to revolutionize cotton production with an attitude based on quality, the search for sophisticated solutions, the use of technologies traditionally reserved for the so-called noble fibres, especially wool and cashmere. In 2004 the company moved its main headquarters to Cantagallo, not only the production departments but also the commercial and creative ones. No longer a simple textile company, Beste is now a reality able to follow the entire production and design cycle behind any clothing product in an organic manner. In 2019, after years of experimentation and development of an internal line, Beste entered the B2C market with the Monobi project (from the Japanese "mono", thing, and "bi", of Beste Italia), offering its first winter collection. Functional and high-performance outdoor clothing for men. Characteristic of Monobi is the verticalized production chain that is totally internal to the company. The new Hub in Prato is dedicated to the Monobi brand, in the former Affortunati factory (Store Via Bologna, 243), an excellent example of industrial archeology recovery.
