Screening of Chinese films in original language with subtitles

In collaboration with Mabuse Cineclub and Terminale Cinema. Special guided screenings of two recent masterpieces of Chinese cinema in original language with Italian subtitles.

7th February - 6.30 p.m.

Screening of the film Earth and Dust by director Li Ruijun (2022). The fresco of a rural love set in the extraordinary landscapes of Qinhai and Gansu, with the actors Hai Qing and Wu Renlin.
It participated in the Berlin Film Festival and was a great success both in China and in Europe.

8th February - 3 p.m.
Screening of the film The Mystery Runs on the River based on the bestseller “Torture” by the writer YuHua; director Wei Shujun, winner of the Un Certain Regard award at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
