Traditional Chinese Music Concert

The Dong Xun Ensemble (Journey to the East) will perform in the late Baroque theater of the Cicognini Convitto.
Founded in Bologna, the ensemble consists of eight Chinese musicians, seven of whom are instrumentalists and one singer. The variety of classical Chinese instruments, almost all of which are represented here, is combined with the beauty and elegance of traditional clothing (hanfu). The ensemble is coordinated by ethnomusicologist Du Shan, a researcher at the University of Milan.

Attending the concert will also give you the opportunity to visit this true temple of local history; an educational institution of undisputed prestige, where great names of Italian culture of the last two centuries have studied.
