On the occasion of the Chinese New Year celebrations, on Sunday the 9th of February the Metastasio Theatre will host the Tea Ceremony, an event organized to promote the art of the oriental tea ceremony and the cultural dialogue between Prato and oriental culture. Through an immersive experience, participants will be able to learn about the tradition of Zen tea and experience moments of calm and introspection.
The organization of the event is led by ZENTE, in collaboration with the Associazione Mindful Peace International - Italy, which will take care of the ceremony and the cultural experience.

Program:
3 p.m. - entrance and short guided tour of the theater, starting from the foyer
3.30 p.m. - opening speech by Cristina, director of ZENTE, to present the event and the culture of Zen tea and, to follow, immersive experience of the "Seven steps of tea"

At 5 p.m. -  second session: the program will be identical to that of the first session.
